1) Make Time for Your Online Coursework
-Dedicate time for your online courses. You have flexibility when you complete your work during the week, but you need to get your work completed during the week. Therefore, make time for your coursework.
2) Self-Check Your Weekly Progress
-Make a list or schedule of items due for the week, then continuously check your progress. If you need a parent or friend to support your accountability, be sure you regularly communicate with them.
3) Learn Time Management Skills
-Create a calendar and weekly schedule. Plus, make note of assignments on the calendar and schedule. Also, place any event that may affect your time on task for your online courses such as vacations, family events, etc.
4) Establish an online learning space and routine
-Determine what type of learning environment works well for you that has high speed internet, your computer, needed materials and resources, headphones, etc.
5) Reduce distractions
-Focus on learning and set aside your cell phone, social media, movies, games, etc. If you need a quiet place to learn, find a place that works for you.
6) Learn what works best for you
-Discover what time works best for learning for you. Not everyone learns the same. Build time in your schedule if you need more time on a particular lesson. This is one of the best parts of online, you can play lessons slower or replay them until you understand the material.
7) Engage and participate in learning
-Complete discussion boards or postings, ask questions, give feedback, ask for help if falling behind, and/or email your teachers for academic support.
8) Collaborate with others
-Build relationships with your teachers and other students. Attending teacher online office hours and virtual student study groups are encouraged.

Because the online educational world is new for many, iAGE Academy offers both a student and parent orientation. From our teachers’ time at traditional schools, they know the power of orientation to make students comfortable and confident in their ability to navigate the experience. Orientation Topics
The orientation will cover topics such as navigating the LMS and SMS systems. It will help students and parents understand the pacing of the course and the expectations. Lastly, it will introduce students to their new school, all the tools and resources, and help welcome all to the iAGE Academy family.
Technology and Materials Requirements
To participate in iAGE Academy’s robust curriculum you need an electronic device that has a reliable connection to the internet. While our curriculum can be accessed on a mobile device, a laptop or desktop computer is highly recommended.
Technology Requirements
There are technology requirements to online learning, of course. The first, and most important requirement, is a reliable internet connection. While some work can be completed offline, a connection is necessary to connect to your course content and submit your assignments. To access the internet, we recommend a laptop or desktop computer. While our curriculum is flexible and can be accessed from a tablet or phone, these items are not recommended for student success.
Materials Needed
Materials are necessary, but the entire program occurs in the digital world. When you enroll in the course, your iAGE Academy team member will inform you of the materials needed, if applicable. The material list will also be provided in the iAGE Academy Course Catalog.

Step #1- Apply for Admission and Pay Application Fee

First, complete and submit the online application form. You can apply at any time. Our enrollment process does not have a deadline and never closes. We offer courses year-round.

Step #2 – Submit Official Transcripts.

If you have taken prior elementary, middle, or high school courses, submit all of your transcripts for transfer credit evaluation. Our goal is to award you with as much transfer credit as possible.
Requesting your transcripts is easy, but may take up to a few weeks to process from your prior school(s). Request your transcripts as soon as possible. If your prior school offers official electronic (secure PDF) transcripts, this will be your fastest method. Send your transcripts to the enrollment specialists email address that was provided to you.

Step #3 – Create your iAGE Academy Student Account
​
Once you have applied and paid your application fee, you are ready to create your iAGE Academy Student Account. You will be given access to the iAGE Academy Student Portal. Your student account will allow you to complete several steps such as make payment for your tuition, complete your course, access your teachers, view your grades, etc. You will learn more about this important access at your orientation.

Step #4 - Schedule a Virtual Meeting with an iAGE Academy Enrollment Specialist
Once your transcripts are evaluated and you are accepted as an iAGE Academy student, it is important to connect and discuss with an iAGE Academy Enrollment Specialist to answer your questions, explain requirements and expectations, and select your courses. Allow yourself at least 30 minutes for this virtual conversation.

Step # 7 Launch your Personalized iAGE Academy World of Care Experience

As part of our iAGE Academy World of Care Pledge, we provide a high-level student support system leading to student’s success. During the orientation, you will begin working with your assigned iAGE Academy Mentor to develop your individualized education plan. This plan helps you stay on track and steer a successful path towards earning credits and ultimately your American High School degree.

iAGE® Academy Elementary School (Grades K-5) Courses

The iAGE® Academy Elementary School Program requires each grade K-5 level to complete a full-year (2 semesters) of courses including English Language Arts (ELA), Math, Science, Social Studies, plus partial year of Special Courses including Arts, Physical Education (PE), Spanish, and Technology.
Full-Year (2 semesters) iAGE® Academy Elementary Program cost is $2,400. Tuition is in U.S. dollars (USD).

Registration Fee
A one-time registration fee of $100 is required to process student registration. This fee is due prior to admission and is non-refundable.
Materials Costs
Some courses require materials to be purchased for the course beyond what is covered by the cost of tuition. The iAGE Academy Course Catalog will provide you with the information you will need about these material costs.
Affordable Tuition Fees – Payment Plans
Even though our tuition fees are lower than most highly regarded online K-12 schools like ours, we still offer payment plans and discounts in order to keep quality education affordable for you.
iAGE® Academy allows you to divide the total costs of tuition fees into smaller payments that extend over time. A down payment of 25% of tuition plus 100% of application fee ($100) for the 3-month payment plan and down payment of 17% of tuition plus 100% of application fee ($100) for the 5-month payment plan is due upon enrollment. Your will need a valid credit card from which monthly payments can be withdrawn by our safe and secured payment portal.

Elementary School Refund Policy
Tuition refunds are based on the date of cancellation. To request a cancellation, you must contact iAGE® Academy at support@iamglobaleducation.com in writing. Tuition refunds will be based on the date of cancellation. If a refund is requested within 7 days of the student's enrollment date in the course, all tuition fees will be refunded less application fees and materials costs, if applicable. After 7 days of the student enrollment date, the balance of fees is still owed.

The Middle School Program requires each grade 6-8 level to complete a full-year (2 semesters) of courses including English Language Arts (ELA), Math, Science, Social Studies, PE, Arts, Business, Coding, World Language, Critical Thinking, and College/Career Planning.

iAGE® Academy High School (9-12) Courses
The iAGE® Academy American High School Diploma Program (Grades 9-12) requires 24 credits and specific graduation requirements to meet college and university acceptance in the U.S and across the world. We customize a program that is right for you by offering regular college prep courses, Honors courses, and AP courses as well as Credit Recovery courses.

Full-Year (2 semesters) iAGE® Academy High School Program Cost is $3,600. If a student enrolls in any Honors or Advanced Placement courses, an addition fee of $50 per semester per Honors course and $75 per semester per AP course is added into the fee structure. Also, students who plan to take AP test(s) will incur fees from the College Board for administration of the test and possible transportation costs to the testing site, if applicable. Students must go through the College Board to sign up for the AP testing site closest to their location across the globe.
